Every crypto transaction requires a network fee. Normally, this fee is paid in the same asset you’re transferring — meaning part of your ETH, USDT, or other token is deducted to process the transaction.
Energy Units are dedicated prepaid credits designed specifically to pay these fees in Cropty Wallet. Instead of using your transaction token, you use a prepaid unit.
When sending funds, simply switch the fee payment method from “Same token” to “Energy points.” Each transaction consumes exactly 1 Energy Unit.

How to Buy Energy Units
You can purchase Energy Units in two ways:
1. Pay with a Card (App Store / Google Play)
- Open the Cropty Energy Units section in the app.
- Select a package (e.g., +100 or +1000 units).
- Choose App Store or Google Play as your payment method.
- The amount will be charged to your linked payment card.
This option allows you to top up without using your crypto balance.
2. Pay with Cryptocurrency
- In the same section, select “With Crypto.”
- Choose the asset you want to pay with (e.g., ETH or XRP).
- Confirm the transaction.
The payment is made in the selected crypto asset, and the Energy Units are added instantly to your balance.
Packages range from small bundles (+10, +100) to larger ones (+500, +1000). The biggest packages offer the highest discount — up to 33%.
How to Use Energy Units When Sending Crypto
To pay a transaction fee using Energy Units:
- Open the Send screen in Cropty Wallet.
- Enter the recipient’s address and the amount (tap MAX if needed).
- In the “Payment of fee” section, switch from “Same token” to “Energy points.”
- The fee will display as Fee: 1⚡.
- Confirm the transaction.
Only 1 Energy Unit will be deducted. The cryptocurrency you’re sending will not be used to cover the fee.
If your balance shows 0⚡, a “Buy energy charges” button will appear, allowing you to purchase units instantly.
